Pakistani fast bowler ruled out of Test series against Australia

Fast bowler Khurram Shahzad has been sidelined from the Test series against Australia due to a stress fracture in his left 10th rib and an abdominal muscle tear. These injuries surfaced after Shahzad experienced discomfort in his left side during the first Test.

The PCB is set to seek advice from a specialist in Australia, following which they’ll establish a definitive management protocol for the player’s injuries.

Following the consultation with the specialist in Australia, Khurram Shahzad will return to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore. There, he will undergo further injury management and rehabilitation procedures.

He was a main bowler and bowled really well in first test. Now pakistan have 2 options for his replacement One is Hassan Ali and 2nd is Mir Hamza.

Pakistan may go with Mir Hamza as he has more domestic experience and wickets then hassan ali.
